Oak, Tasmanian (Quarter)

Tasmanian Oak Veneer

A commonly confused eucalypt species, primarily due to the close similarities between itself and a number of other species. The actual botanical species is less critical, with the focus on the appearance of the finished veneer. Tasmanian Oak lends itself to a darker appearance, while Tasmanian Ash is the common term for the lighter coloured veneers.
