Ash, silver (Quarter)

Silver Ash (Quarter) figured - Timber Veneer & Plywood Species

The tree can be recognised by swellings on the trunk covering overgrown circles of broken-off limbs, giving it the local name ‘Bumpy Ash’. The veneers range from silvery-white to pale yellow and have been a popular blonde species for many years, particularly prior to the heritage listing of much of the North Queensland rainforest.
