Oak, European (Quarter)

European Oak (Quarter) - Timber Veneer & Plywood Species

European Oak shares many similarities to its North American cousin (American White Oak) but is notably more consistent and slightly darker in colour while still exhibiting a distinctive,  prominent grain pattern. It is these characteristics which have made European Oak a much-loved and widely used veneer all around the world. While not as common in Australia as American White Oak, this is more to do with supply and is in no way a reflection of its appeal and beauty.
