The heritage listing of much of the North Queensland rainforests has seen supply and use of Silky Oak decrease dramatically. Despite this, Silky Oak remains well known and is still a popular choice for higher end specifications. At times natural Silky Oak has been difficult to source for such projects, making Truewood Silky Oak the obvious substitute. Combining the beautiful honeycomb colour of its natural veneer with the bold fineline appearance of Truewood, it’s certain to see Silky Oak live on in the hearts and projects of the next generation of veneer enthusiasts.
