We welcome Meg Berry to Matilda Veneer
Once upon a time in late 2022, we were frustrated by the shortage of qualified staff available – in all roles and decided on a new approach. Instead of simply putting specific job ads on telephone poles, we decided it was time to branch out. We put out a call in search of ‘quality humans’ to fill negotiated roles. If we found the right person, we’d create the right job.
Enter Meg Berry and the creation of our new role of Architectural Representative. With nearly 30 years of experience in architecture, Meg is a seasoned professional who is always on the lookout for new challenges. She is passionate about timber products and considers herself the “Queen of SGB (spotted gum battens)”.
Meg was familiar with the products offered by Matilda Veneer having specified them in several education and office fit-out projects over the last few years – projects that have been featured in Matilda’s brochures and awards. Meg felt that Matilda Veneer would be the perfect environment for her to apply her experience and continue her love of timber and timber projects. Meg adds a new dimension to the team, and we couldn’t be more excited about what the next 12 months have in store.
