Matilda Veneer
Welcome to 2018!

We trust you had a restful break and are looking forward to an exciting new year ahead.

This is our first week back in the office, but we’re pleased to share with you some of our plans and news for 2018.

We’re really focused on getting architects, designers and specifiers to better understand what timber veneer is, why it’s an amazing product to work with, and some of the intricate details that will enable these professionals to better understand the beauty and flexibility of it. With this in mind, we’ll be looking to further implement our Professional Development course. If you are interested in knowing more, please feel free to find out more information here or by calling our office.

In our manufacturing area, we’ve interested in new offices in China, and later this year we’ll be purchasing equipment to extend our manufacturing capabilities. We’re happy to take any of our stakeholders on a tour of our Mill in China, should you be interested next time you are in the country.

We’ve got some big projects in the works, with products being specified for high residential developments and iconic tourist spots. Stay tuned for more!

In late 2017, Anthony Wardrop from our team was selected as the Vice President on the Timber Veneer Association of Australia (TVAA) and will work closely with the newly elected president, Terry Franklin from Ventech. The next TVAA meeting is being hosted here on the Gold Coast, so we look forward to having our fellow members in the Sunshine State.

In breaking news, we’re also really excited to announced the appointment of a new and integral team member here at Matilda, Ryan Connolly in the position of Sales Manager.

We hope you have a great start to 2018 and we look forward to working with you throughout the year.
